As a reviewer, I find that it effectively transforms an iPad or iPhone into a real-time decision-making tool by consolidating critical data for remote access.

Navigation within the app is intuitive, employing Multi-Touch gestures to explore a comprehensive multi-level organizational view that accurately reflects the company's structure. It enables users to compare plant performance side-by-side through key performance indicators (KPIs) at a macro level or drill down into granular data, such as the details of individual bits in control system registers. The app also responds promptly to live alarms generated from calculations, measurements, or predictive alerts imported from the control system.

The visualization capabilities are robust; detailed process diagrams of industrial automation systems are displayed in high fidelity and updated online. Users can analyze operational history by reviewing and plotting historical events and data points, providing valuable insights into plant performance over time.

It is important to note that the EDS Mobile App comes pre-configured for seamless connection to an Emerson virtual plant environment for real-time and historical data access.
